More Than 15,000 Tickets Sold to Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl

College Park, Md. - To date, 15,000 of the Maryland Terrapin tickets to the 2002 Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl have been sold, including 500 via the Peach Bowl ticket office.
Maryland has maintained approximately 1,500 tickets for ongoing sales leading up to kickoff. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Terrapin Ticket Office at 800-462-TERP and at the Maryland "will call" window (between Gates A and D) at the Georgia Dome on game day, while tickets last.
The Terps have provided 3,500 tickets to the military and non-profit service organizations (police, fire fighters, youth groups, etc.) in the Atlanta area.
Bowl officials predict that the Maryland vs. Tennessee match-up could be the Peach Bowl's all-time highest TV rating. The Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl will be televised by ESPN on December 31st at 7:30 p.m.
