- After that save, the Terps made one final attempt on a corner kick, sending the entire team into the box. That left the Terps' net exposed on the counter attack that followed and Hallahan passed the ball into the back of the net from 40 yards out to make it 4-2 with under 10 seconds left.
- Prior to the match, Crognale, Bergmann and Brown were honored in a senior day ceremony. Crognale and Bergmannn are i their third season at Maryland after joining the squad for the 2017 campaign while Brown is playing his lone season in College Park after transferring in from Hofstra prior to this year.
From the Boss
"That's a tough one to take. Tough pill to swallow. We started brightly once again and scored a couple good goals. They were very efficient on their crosses in the box and our box defending wasn't good enough today. But I'm proud of our guys. With all of the injuries before the game and with David's sickness and Malcolm's injury, I thought our guys competed hard and fought to the last whistle. That's a good Michigan team." -
