Celebrating Maryland Women's Basketball's 50th Season
11/8/2020
Since its first year as a varsity sport in 1971, the Maryland Women's Basketball program has experienced sustained success. Our student-athletes have displayed excellence both on and off the court. Our three head coaches have demonstrated what it means to be a leader. Through every season, our team has played with Maryland Pride. This year, we will celebrate 50 Seasons of Maryland Women's Basketball. Join us as we honor our history and look forward to an even brighter future.

At Maryland, you really can have it all. Great academics, great basketball, great location and great people = a phenomenal experience. You don't have to settle for just some of those. There's no better place.Head Coach Brenda Frese
