FOOTBALL IS BACK! MARYLAND RETURNED TO THE FIELD ON MARCH 23 FOR THE FIRST OF 15 SPRING PRACTICES. THE TERRAPINS WILL PRACTICE THREE TIMES A WEEK FOR FIVE WEEKS AND HOLD THEIR ANNUAL SPRING GAME ON SATURDAY, APRIL 24.

April 22
Maryland football held its final practice before Saturday's Red-White Spring Game today. The Terps avoided the cold and wind by practicing in the indoor facility on Thursday. The players were in shorts and no pads.
Earlier in the day, junior defensive lineman Mosiah Nasili-Kite and junior offensive lineman Jaelyn Duncan chatted with the media. Kite spoke about how Brian Stewart and Brian Williams are pushing him in practice, while Duncan talked about taking on a leadership role along the offensive line.

April 20
The final week of spring football is off an running as the Terrapins returned to the practice field on Tuesday. It marked the 13th practice of the spring and final practice in pads before Saturday's Red-White Spring Game. Check out the best images from Tuesday's practice.

Prior to Tuesday's practice, Coach Locksley met with the media to discuss his impressions of how the team looked at this past Saturday's scrimmage and what he hopes to accomplish during the final week of spring camp. He also highlighted some of the standout early enrollees and spoke about what it'll be like to have fans in the stands on Saturday.

April 17
The Terrapins wrapped up week four of spring ball with a scrimmage on Saturday afternoon. It marked Maryland's final tune-up in The Shell before next Saturday's Red-White Spring Game. Taulia Tagovailoa, Dontay Demus Jr. and Tayon Fleet-Davis were a few of the offensive stars on Saturday. The defense also made several big plays during the scrimmage, highlighted by this interception from senior defensive back Kenny Bennett.

The Terps return to the practice field on Tuesday as Maryland enters its final week of spring camp.
April 15
The Maryland football team completed its 11th practice of the spring on Thursday. The Terrapins were once again in full pads as they gear up for another scrimmage this coming Saturday.

Prior to Thursday's practice, senior running back Tayon Fleet-Davis and sophomore linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II met with the media.
April 13
Maryland football returned to the fields for practice #10 on Tuesday afternoon. Players were in full pads and the practice lasted roughly two hours. Check out the top images from Tuesday's practice below.

Earlier in the day, Coach Locksley chatted with the media and provided updates on how Saturday's scrimmage went and what he hopes to accomplish during the final two weeks of spring ball. April 10
The Terps were in The Shell for practice #9 on Saturday as the third week of spring football wrapped up with a spirited scrimmage. It was a high-paced practice with players rotating in and out each series. The team was also able to get extensive work in the red area, goal line and two-minute drill.

April 8
After four consecutive practices in full pads, the Terps were back in shells on Thursday afternoon for practice #8 of the spring. Today was Maryland's final tune-up before Saturday's closed scrimmage.
Earlier today, seniors Chigoziem Okonkwo and Jordan Mosley met with the media. Okonkwo let us know what the last year has been like for him as he had to sit out the 2020 season with a medical condition. Mosley spoke on how the defense improved as last season went on and what changes fans can expect to see with new defensive coordinator Brian Stewart calling plays.
April 6

Prior to Maryland taking the field on Tuesday, Coach Locksley met with the media to provide the latest happenings with the team.
It was 75 degrees and sunny on Tuesday as the Terps continued to work towards the Red-White Spring Game, which will take place on Saturday, April 24 at Noon with fans in attendance. Be sure to claim your tickets in advance!

Earlier this week, new Maryland Offensive Coordinator Dan Enos was mic'd up. Be sure to check out this behind-the-scenes access as Enos begins to form relationships and showcase his teaching style.

DID YOU KNOW: In 2018, Dan Enos coached with current Maryland Head Coach Michael Locksley at Alabama, serving as the Associate Head Coach and Quarterbacks Coach. Locksley and Enos helped lead the Crimson Tide to 14 wins, an SEC Championship, a berth in the College Football Playoff and a win over Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl.
The players will once again have Sunday off before returning to the football facility on Monday for meetings. The Terps return to the practice field on Tuesday.
April 1
For the first time this spring, the Maryland football team practiced inside Cole Field House. The Terrapins avoided the heavy winds and wet field by taking advantage of their beautiful indoor facility for practice #5 of the spring. Check out the best images from Thursday's full pads practice.

After standout freshmen seasons in which both players were named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten, wide receiver Rakim Jarrett and defensive back Tarheeb Still are back and looking for more in year two. The duo spoke to the media on Thursday afternoon.
DID YOU KNOW: Maryland defensive back Tarheeb Still led the nation in pass breakups per game during his freshman season. Still's 2.0 pass breakups per game is the highest per game mark in program history. The Sicklerville, New Jersey native was selected to The Athletic’s Freshman All-America Team, one of just five defensive backs in the country named to the team.

March 27
The first week of spring ball is in the books! Maryland completed its third practice of the week on Saturday afternoon. It was the Terrapins first contact practice of the spring as they wore shorts and shells during the roughly two hour practice. The players will rest on Sunday before returning for week two on Monday. Maryland's next scheduled practice is set for Tuesday afternoon.

Did You Know: With four receiving touchdowns in just five games last season, wide receiver Dontay Demus Jr. now has 10 in his career, tied for the 11th most in program history. With his next touchdown grab, Demus Jr. will move up to ninth all-time in the Maryland record books, tying Marcus Badgett (1989-92) and Barry Johnson (1987-90).

March 25
The Terps returned to the field on Thursday afternoon for their second practice of the spring. Per NCAA rules, the first two practices of the spring can't involve contact, so players were once again not in pads.

The Terps will be back on the field in shells on Saturday for their third practice of the spring.
Did You Know: Maryland returns 85 percent of its total production from last season. That mark is the highest returning production of any team in the Big Ten and ranks 10th best nationally, according to ESPN. The Terps return 86 percent of its offensive production, the 14th-highest mark in the country and 85 percent of its defensive production, the 17th-highest mark in the country.

March 23
The first day of spring practice began with Coach Locksley, several assistant coaches and players speaking with the media (clips below). After special teams and position meetings, the Terps headed out to the field for practice #1.
