As off-campus living has become increasingly popular for college students, Tempo College Park has become one of the most hotly desired apartment buildings for Maryland students thanks to its high-scale amenities, close proximity to campus and brand new facilities. It’s also become a favorite for Terrapin student-athletes, with players on numerous teams residing there.
And in the new age of Name, Image and Likeness, both the Tempo and Maryland student-athletes have been able to benefit from a partnership. Tempo receives social media advertising from quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa and women’s lacrosse attacker Libby May while the student-athletes get compensated and receive housing benefits.
"Tempo has done a great job of creating genuine partnerships with Maryland student-athletes like Libby and Taulia,” said Grayson Wagner, Maryland’s Director of NIL. “It is very important for student-athletes to have a place to live that feels like home and provides an escape from the grind of being a student and D1 athlete, so these partnerships just make sense! We appreciate all the support that Tempo provides to both the department and student-athletes."
