Everything you need to know about the 15 Terps participating in Maryland's 2024 Pro Day

Maryland's annual football pro day will be held at the Jones-Hill House indoor practice facility on Friday, March 29. Fifteen student-athletes from the 2023 Terrapins team will showcase their talents in front of scouts from all 32 NFL teams. They will be tested in the vertical jump, 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, 3-cone drill, broad jump and individual position drills as the 2024 NFL Draft quickly approaches. Here’s everything you need to know about each participant:
Gottlieb Ayedze

Gottlieb Ayedze proved a lot during his one season as a Terp, seeing action in 11 games at right tackle and starting Maryland's final 10 contests. A Germantown, MD native, Ayedze blocked for the fourth-ranked overall offense in the Big Ten (387.3 ypg) and the top-ranked passing offense (278.9 passing ypg). He was the seventh-highest rated pass blocking tackle in the Big Ten (min 500 snaps) with a 74.3 grade via Pro Football Focus. He even participated in the East-West Shrine Bowl and NFL Scouting Combine.
Beau Brade

Beau Brade has been a linchpin for Maryland’s defense over the last few seasons. A veteran defensive back from Clarksville, MD, Brade started all 12 games he played during his senior season in 2023 and led the Terrapins in tackles for the second straight season with 75 total and 48 solo. Brade also registered four tackles for loss, six pass breakups, one interception and a forced fumble. Brade was named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten and was voted by his teammates as one of the team captains at the end of the regular season. He even participated in the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
Corey Bullock

Corey Bullock only spent one season with the Terps on the offensive line but it was a productive one. The Accokeek, MD native transferred to the FBS level and started 11 games for the Terps at guard and was named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention. Bullock was the second-highest rated pass-blocking guard in the Big Ten Conference (min 500 snaps) according to Pro Football Focus with an 81.6 grade.
Tre Colbert

Tre Colbert transferred to the FBS level and became a key contributor to the Terps’ defensive line down the stretch. The graduate student appeared in all 13 games and started in six, including the final four games. Colbert tallied 27 tackles (10 solo), three sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He finished the season tied for third on the team in sacks. He was previously named to the All-Lone Star Conference First Team Defense in 2022 at Angelo State.
Delmar Glaze

Delmar Glaze has been an anchor on Maryland’s offensive line for the last three years. The Charlotte, NC native started every game at left tackle for the Terps in 2023, pacing an offensive line that blocked for the fourth-ranked overall offense in the Big Ten (387.3 ypg) and the top-ranked passing offense (278.9 passing ypg) in the league. Glaze was the second-rated pass-blocking tackle in the Big Ten via Pro Football Focus with an 83.6 grade and the fourth-rated tackle overall (min 750 snaps). He was named Third Team All-Big Ten after the regular season. He also participated in the NFL Combine and Reese’s Senior Bowl.
Aric Harris

Aric Harris appeared in nine games and made six starts at center in 2023. He was part of an offensive line that blocked for the fourth-ranked overall offense in the Big Ten (387.3 ypg) and the top-ranked passing offense (278.9 passing ypg) in the league. Harris was the fourth-highest rated center in the Big Ten (min 400 snaps) with a 70.2 grade according to Pro Football Focus. He was also penalized just twice in his 2023 campaign, which is tied for the least in the conference. He also participated in the Tropical Bowl.
Jeshaun Jones

Jeshaun Jones is one of Maryland’s most productive receivers in school history. He led the Terps in receiving in 2022 and 2023. In 2023, he was named Third Team All-Big Ten and team captain by his teammates at the end of the season. He started all 13 games and led Maryland in receptions (56), receiving yards (790) and receiving yards per game (60.8) working primarily out of the slot. Jones ranked fifth in the Big Ten in receptions, receiving yards and receiving yards per game while hauling in four receiving touchdowns and averaging 14.1 yards per catch. He ended his career ranked fifth all-time at Maryland in career receiving touchdowns (14) and career receptions (149), as well as sixth in career receiving yards (2,043).
Amelio Morán

Amelio Morán appeared in 12 games, starting seven on the offensive line in 2023. He was part of an offensive line that blocked for the fourth-ranked overall offense in the Big Ten (387.3 ypg) and the top-ranked passing offense (278.9 passing ypg) in the league. The Virginia Beach, VA native has versatility, as he has taken snaps at guard and tackle in his career. He was one of only four players at his position in the conference to not allow a single sack or hit on the quarterback (min 300 snaps) in 2023 according to Pro Football Focus.
Michael Purcell

Mike Purcell transferred to the FBS level and was a major contributor to an offensive line that blocked for the fourth-ranked overall offense in the Big Ten (387.3 ypg) and the top-ranked passing offense (278.9 passing ypg) in the league in 2023. He appeared in 12 games at center, starting in seven. At his previous school, Elon, he was named Second Team All-CAA and Second Team All-CAA by Phil Steele.

Ja'Quan Sheppard has shown the ability to compete against the best in the ACC and Big Ten Conferences. He was named First Team All-AAC in 2022 at Cincinnati and followed that up with an Honorable Mention All-Big Ten selection at Maryland in 2023. He started all 13 games for the Terrapins and led the team and ranked tied for fourth in the Big Ten in pass break-ups (8). Sheppard was the eighth-highest graded cornerback from the Big Ten in coverage (over 500 snaps) with an 80.5 grade according to Pro Football Focus. He participated in the East-West Shrine Bowl and Hula Bowl.
Colton Spangler

Colton Spangler ranks third all-time at Maryland in career punting average (42.8). The Pasadena, MD native was named to the 2022 Ray Guy Award Watch List and recognized as an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention the same year. He appeared in 13 games in 2023 and punted 38 times for 1,605 yards (42.24 average), pinning 19 inside the 20 and putting seven punts over 50 yards.
Gereme Spraggins

Gereme Spraggins appeared in 12 of 13 games at linebacker for the Terps in 2023. He totaled 16 tackles (eight solo). A native of Baltimore, MD, Spraggins totaled 68 tackles (46 solo), 2.5 tackles for loss and a pass defended in his Maryland career. He tallied 70 tackles (36 solo), 2.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries and an interception during his 2019 campaign at Hutchinson Community College where he was teammates with former Terp Jakorian Bennett.
Tarheeb Still

Tarheeb Still was a significant contributor for the Terps all four years he was in College Park. Still, a 2023 Second Team All-Big Ten selection, ranked tied for third nationally in interceptions per game (0.5) and tied for sixth nationally in total interceptions (5) during his final year at Maryland. The senior had a pair of interceptions in each of Maryland's wins over Virginia and Nebraska, making him one of only three FBS players to have two games with two interceptions. Still was named the Jim Thorpe National Defensive Back of the Week and the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week after his two-interception performance at Nebraska.

Taulia Tagovailoa cemented himself as one of the best quarterbacks in Maryland program history in his four seasons as a Terp. He became the Big Ten’s all-time passing leader (11,256 yards) and earned Second Team All-Big Ten honors for the second time in his career in 2023. Tagovailoa ranks first in program history in passing yards, completions (955), completion percentage (67.1%), passing touchdowns (76), 300-yard passing games (15) and total offense (11,473). He also boasts many more single-season program records. The senior finished first in the Big Ten in passing yards (3377) and completions (290), tied for first in passing touchdowns (25) and second in completion percentage (66.4%) in 2023.
Christian Teague

Christian Teague appeared in all 13 games for the Terps in 2023. He totaled nine tackles (four solo) and one pass breakup. The Hagerstown, MD native attended Morgan State during his freshman and sophomore seasons where he was a two-time All-MEAC player. He totaled 87 tackles (54 solo), 12 tackles for loss and two sacks over his two seasons at Morgan State. In 2021 alone, he tallied 50 tackles (33 solo), 8.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.
