First Look: Barry P. Gossett Basketball Performance Center

The unveiling of the Barry P. Gossett Basketball Performance Center celebrates the opening of a state-of-the-art facility for our nationally prominent basketball programs. The student-athletes saw their new home for the first time in early September. The Terps are made to feel welcome in their new surroundings and aware of all of the elements to help them flourish in their basketball careers in College Park.

45,000 Square Feet
Dedicated Practice Court for the Men's and Women's programs
State-of-the-art Strength and Conditioning room with 6 technology-infused Sorinex racks, custom med ball wall, and cardio equipment
Men's and Women's Sports Medicine Rooms with two custom Grimm Hydrotherapy tubs to accommodate the height of Basketball student-athletes
Dedicated Lounge, Film, and Locker Room spaces for both programs
Dedicated Offices and Conference rooms for the staff of both programs
Connection tunnel to XFINITY Center for student-athletes to be able to travel to and from on gamedays
