What's an anniversary celebration without the best fit? The University of Maryland and Under Armour are excited to launch a special commemorative 2001-02 throwback uniform in honor of the 2002 NCAA National Championship 25th Anniversary, presented by Northrop Realty.
These iconic uniforms are a faithful recreation of the 2002 ones that so many Terp fans love as much today as back then. Included in the details are the large, classic arch Maryland across the chest; the M-Flag and red stripe across the bottom of the short leg; throwback fonts throughout; an M-Flag/Muscle Terp “flippable logo” on the center waistband; and the black/red/gold Taxi Trim around the neckline, arms, and piping throughout.
This is the uniform that every Maryland fan has wanted to see again - and we're excited to tell you that fans will see them in person for three special games this year! The Terps will wear the 2002 Throwbacks for the season-opener against Bucknell, on January 16 against Illinois, and on February 13 against Indiana which will be our 2002 National Championship celebration game.

Your first chance to purchase 2002 inspired throwback jersey will be that night at XFINITY Center as well as at the University Book Store. Online sales will begin later that night following the game.
