Maryland's annual football pro day will be held at the Jones-Hill House indoor practice facility on Friday, March 27. Seven student-athletes from the 2025 team will showcase their talents in front of NFL scouts as the 2026 NFL Draft approaches. They will be tested in the vertical jump, 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, 3-cone drill, broad jump and individual position drills. Here’s everything you need to know about each participant:

After a three-year tenure with Oklahoma, Jalil Farooq returned to his home state to play for Locksley and the Terps. His 58 receptions tied for 11th all-time in Maryland single-season history and combined for 545 receiving yards, which ranked second on the team. His reception tally tied for ninth in the Big Ten, and he hauled in a quartet of touchdown passes, including two against Michigan State in the Terps’ season finale.
Ethan Gough
Long Snapper | 6-1 | 230
A five-year member of his home-state Terps, Ethan Gough was a primary contributor to the success of the special teams unit. His impressive 2025 season earned him 2025 All-Big Ten Honorable Mention, 2025 Wuerffel Trophy Watch List, 2025 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team nominee, and 2025 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar accolades. In 2025, he snapped for punter Bryce McFerson, who finished the season ranked second in the Big Ten in punting average (44.2 yards per punt), and kicker Sean O’Haire, who converted on 21 of his 24 field goal attempts and made all 29 of his extra point attempts. Gough was a two-time captain for the Terps against Towson and Michigan.

As a 2026 NFL Combine invitee, Jalen Huskey is ready to write the latest chapter in his football story. Huskey anchored a defensive unit that had its most interceptions since 2010 while playing in all 12 games and making 11 starts. Huskey finished his Maryland career with seven interceptions and 141 tackles across two seasons in College Park, and was named Maryland's Defensive Player of the Year.

Wide Receiver | 6-3 | 194
A four-year Terp, Shaleak Knotts hauled in 67 receptions for 958 yards and seven touchdowns across 43 career games. His six touchdown receptions and 717 passing yards in 2025 both led the Terps as he established himself as a top target for true-freshman quarterback Malik Washington. Knotts demonstrated his prowess right away as he scored touchdowns in each of his first four games of the season. His 16.3 yards per reception led the team in 2025 and ranked sixth in the Big Ten.
Cam Rice
