#1 - Taulia Tagovailoa

Football

Ever since Tulia Tagovailoa announced he was coming to Maryland Terrapin fans have wanted to learn as much as they can about the dynamic quarterback.

Jake Funk had been a member of the Maryland football program since 2016, but Maryland fans wanted to know more about the Terrapins' main man in the backfield in 2020.

#3 - Aaron Wiggins

Men's Basketball

The 2020 Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year, Aaron Wiggins, was one of the big reasons the Terrapins won a share of the Big Ten Championship.

#4 - Anthony Cowan Jr.

Men's Basketball

Maryland's Iron Man, Anthony Cowan Jr., never missed a game and never missed a start. One of the program's all-time greats finished a storybook career hoisting the Big Ten championship trophy.

Stix made his mark during his time as a Terp, including helping lead the team to the Big Ten title. Jalen Smith then capped a remarkable 2020 off as a Top 10 selection in the NBA Draft.

This certainly isn't Steelers country, but that doesn't stop Maryland fans from wanting to learn more about Dino Tomlin, who's making a name for himself as a Terp.

#7 - Chol Marial

Men's Basketball

It's easy to standout in a crowd when you're 7-foot-2. The Lion of the South Sudan certainly captured the eyes of Terrapin Nation in 2020.

What didn't Ashley Owusu do in 2020? The guard from Woodbridge, Virginia, led Maryland to the Big Ten championship, was named the Big Ten Tournament MVP, and was selected as the conferences Freshman of the Year. Terrapin fans couldn't help but want to find out more about Owusu. 

#9 - Anthony McFarland Jr.

Football

The speedster out of Hyattsville, Maryland, thrilled Terrapin fans throughout the 2019 season gashing opposing defenses. McFarland then gained even more notoriety when he became the first Terp selected in the 2020 NFL Draft, going to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Men's Basketball

Born and bred in the DMV, Darryl Morsell is a leader on and off the court for Maryland. Terp fans wanted to learn more about one of Terrapin hoops' finest.
