#1 - Maryland Athletics, Mark Turgeon Mutually Agree to Part Ways; Danny Manning Named Interim Head Coach

In a mutual decision, Maryland Athletics announced that Mark Turgeon is stepping down as the head coach for the men's basketball program.

#2 - BACK TO THE FINAL: #1 Terps Dominate Duke, 14-5

#1-ranked and undefeated Maryland advanced to the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship Game for the 15th time in history with a dominating 14-5 win over second-seeded Duke (14-3) at a rainy and cold Rentschler Field on Saturday afternoon. This will be the Terps sixth time in the championship game over the last 10 times the event has been held -- since John Tillman took over as head coach in 2011. In the title game, the third-seeded Terps (15-0) will face fourth-seeded Virginia (13-4), who defeated top-seed North Carolina earlier in the day on Saturday.

#1-ranked and undefeated Maryland advanced to its 27th NCAA Semifinals rallying to defeat sixth-seeded Notre Dame, 14-13 in overtime, at Arlotta Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The third-seeded Terps (14-0) will face second-seeded Duke (14-2) next Saturday, May 29 at Pratt & Whitney Stadium in East Hartford, Conn. The top four seeds advanced to the NCAA Semifinals as the other matchup pits top-seeded North Carolina (13-2) vs. fourth-seeded Virginia (12-4). 

#10 - B1G CHAMPS: #1 Terps Rally For Men's Lax Tournament Title

The #1-ranked and undefeated Maryland men's lacrosse team won its third Big Ten Tournament Championship on Saturday night at Panzer Stadium, rallying to beat Johns Hopkins, 12-10.
