Maryland's annual football pro day will be held at the Jones-Hill House indoor practice facility on Friday, March 28. Twelve student-athletes from the 2025 team will showcase their talents in front of NFL scouts as the 2024 NFL Draft approaches. They will be tested in the vertical jump, 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, 3-cone drill, broad jump and individual position drills. Here’s everything you need to know about each participant: 

Tommy Akingbesote

Defensive Line | 6-4 | 316

Tommy Akingbesote, a native of Largo, has shown steady development over his four seasons as a Terp. He wrapped up his senior season with a career-best 32 tackles (16 solo) and five for loss. He also added a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. According to Pro Football Focus, Akingbesote placed second on the Terps’ roster in pressures (19) and hurries (14) in 2024. His 73.7 grade against the run and 72.6 defensive grade rank ninth and 12th among all Big Ten Conference interior defenders (min 500 snaps). He is also ranked 330 on PFF's Big Board rankings. Akingbesote participated in the NFL Scouting Combine and East-West Shrine Bowl.

Donnell Brown

Linebacker | 6-4 | 248

A former two-time FCS All-American, Donnell Brown was one of Maryland’s best playmakers on the defensive side of the ball each of the last two seasons. He played in all 25 games during that time frame, accumulating 52 total tackles (33 solo), 8.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, two interceptions, six pass deflections, two fumble recoveries and a field goal block. According to Pro Football Focus, the Upper Marlboro native was the eighth-highest-graded edge defender against the run (77.3) and ninth-highest-graded defender overall in the Big Ten Conference (76.9) with a minimum of 300 snaps played.

Isaac Bunyun

Offensive Line | 6-3 | 321

Isaac Bunyun played on Maryland’s defensive line each of his first four seasons before undergoing a position change and finishing his final season as a full-time starter on the offensive side of the ball as a guard. Bunyun’s most productive year on the D-line was in 2023, where he recorded 13 total tackles (nine solo), five tackles for loss and two sacks. In 2024 — on the O-line — the High Point High School graduate blocked for the No. 3 passing offense in the Big Ten (275.7 ypg). According to Pro Football Focus, he did so while allowing just five hits, six hurries and committing one penalty. Bunyun played all 636 of his snaps that season at left guard.

Tai Felton

Wide Receiver | 6-2 | 186

Tai Felton turned in a record-setting senior season as the Terps’ top target in 2024, underlined by immense growth and development. After being named Third Team All-Big Ten as a junior, the senior team captain was a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff while earning Third Team All-American (AP) and Second Team All-American (AFCA) honors with a First Team All-Big Ten distinction. Felton totaled 96 receptions (No. 4 in FBS) for 1,124 yards (No. 15 in FBS) and nine touchdowns during his breakout year, in which he became the program record holder for single-season catches and one of four Terps in history with a 1,000+ receiving yard season. Across his four-year career, he ranks third all-time in career receptions (172), fourth all-time in receiving yards (2,207) and tied for fourth in receiving touchdowns (17). The receiver also ranks 192nd on PFF's Big Board rankings. Felton participated in the Reese's Senior Bowl and NFL Scouting Combine.

Quashon Fuller

Defensive Line | 6-3 | 264

After transferring from Florida State in 2022, Quashon Fuller became a standout on Maryland’s defensive front over the last three seasons. He wrapped up his career with the Terps, accumulating 60 total tackles (37 solo), 10.5 tackles for loss, six sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. Fuller’s junior campaign in 2023, which netted five TFLs and three sacks, resulted in an Honorable Mention All-Big Ten nod. According to Pro Football Focus, the edge defender boasted the sixth-highest tackling grade (74.1) with a minimum of 400 snaps in the Big Ten.

Ruben Hyppolite II

Linebacker | 6-0 | 240

Ruben Hyppolite II was a mainstay for the Terps throughout his five-year career from 2020-24. A 2023 team captain, Hyppolite garnered Third Team All-Big Ten honors as a senior before being named to the Butkus Award Watch List ahead of his fifth year. In 47 career games, the linebacker totaled 218 tackles (128 solo), 11 for loss, seven pass deflections, one interception and one forced fumble. The linebacker led the Terps in tackles in 2024 (66) and was the 14th highest-graded defender (min 500 snaps) in the Big Ten, according to Pro Football Focus. He participated in the Hula Bowl in his home state of Florida.

Josh Kaltenberger

Offensive Line | 6-6 | 308

Josh Kaltenberger, a graduate transfer from Purdue, started at center in all 12 games in 2024 for the Terps after playing 36 games for the Boilermakers from 2021-23. Kaltenberger was the 11th highest graded pass blocker (75.7) on the O-line this past season in the Big Ten (min 750 snaps), as he blocked for the third most productive passing offense in the Big Ten (275.7 ypg). Kaltenberger surrendered just six hurries, tied for the fewest in the conference. His 11 pressures were also the 12th fewest. In addition to his play on the field, Kaltenberger boasts three Academic All-Big Ten honors.

Colby McDonald

Running Back | 5-10 | 211

In 37 career games across Colby McDonald’s four-year career, he racked up 921 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns on 5.4 yards per carry. He also hauled in 15 receptions for 78 yards. The Accokeek native has provided stability in a running back by committee room, capable of hitting the big play. McDonald has averaged 4.7 YPC or higher every year from 2021-24. His 2024 season was cut short due to a season-ending injury sustained in Maryland’s comeback victory over USC on Nov. 19, 2024.

Glendon Miller

Defensive Back | 6-2 | 206

Glendon Miller developed into a Swiss Army Knife for the Terps in his final two seasons. Starting in 16 of 24 games from 2023-24, he recorded 76 total tackles (52 solo) with four for a loss, seven interceptions and 13 pass deflections. According to Pro Football Focus, Miller was graded as the No. 10 safety in the Big Ten (76.1) among players recording at least 500 snaps. His grade against the run (84.5) and coverage grade (75.3) were also the fourth and 11th highest in the conference, respectively. Miller participated in the East-West Shrine Bowl after being named to the Shrine Bowl 1000 and Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List at the beginning of the season.

Jordan Phillips

Defensive Line | 6-3 | 320

Since transferring from Tennessee in 2022, Jordan Phillips has been a behemoth on Maryland’s D-line for the past two seasons. He’s racked up 57 total tackles (31 solo), 2.5 of which have gone for a loss. Phillips’ freakish strength makes him an asset as a pass rusher and a run defender. Pro Football Focus graded Phillips as the 13th-best interior defender in the Big Ten with a 71.4 grade (min 500 snaps). Furthermore, his 71.3 tackling grade ranked fourth, and his 72.7 pass-rush grade ranked eighth. He even ranks 80th on PFF's Big Board rankings. He participated in the East-West Shrine Bowl.

Kaden Prather

Wide Receiver | 6-3 | 210

Kaden Prather boasts the ideal frame of a No. 1 receiver at the next level. In two seasons with the Terps since transferring from West Virginia, he corralled 98 passes for 1,290 yards and nine touchdowns. He showcased his big-play ability in 2023, finishing third in the Big Ten with an average of 15.9 yards per catch. This past season, the Montgomery Village native led the conference in snaps out wide (484). Pro Football Focus gave Prather an 89.4 drop rating among Big Ten wide receivers with at least 50 targets. The rating, grading player’s hands, ranked fourth highest in the conference. Prather is also ranked 212th on PFF's Big Board rankings. The receiver participated in the NFL Scouting Combine and East-West Shrine Bowl.

Dante Trader Jr.

Defensive Back | 5-11 | 202

Dante Trader Jr. is another hard-nosed prospect in the defensive backfield for the Terps, who have sent several at the position(s) in recent years to the NFL. A three-year starter over his four-year career, Trader boasts career totals of 190 tackles (123 solo), 16 pass deflections, five interceptions and one forced fumble. He finished among the top three in tackles for the Terps in three consecutive years from 2022-24. According to Pro Football Focus, Trader was the highest-graded tackler (90.0) in the Big Ten (min 500 snaps). His grade against the run (83.0) also ranked sixth. Trader is ranked No. 257 on PFF's Big Board rankings. In addition to his excelling on the field, the defensive back was named to the 2024 Wuerffel Trophy Watch List and Allstate AFCA Good Works Team as a nominee, showcasing a commitment to giving back to his community. He was also named CSC Academic All-District in 2023. Trader participated in the NFL Scouting Combine and Reese’s Senior Bowl.
