2026 Commencement: Student Reflections
5/20/2026

Graduation is a milestone that signifies the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. For the University of Maryland's student fans, this milestone is also significant, as it represents the culmination of years of hard work. These Maryland graduates reflect on their time at Maryland, what being a Terp meant to them and their favorite moments.
Congratulations to all of the University of Maryland graduates.

My favorite Maryland memory was making signs and getting to sit so close to the team for Women's Basketball games. We even got to meet some of the players after a Terrapin win!

One of my favorite Maryland memories was being part of the UMD club team and spending countless nights practicing, traveling, and competing with the team. Some of my closest friendships and best college memories came from those experiences. Go Terps!

My favorite Maryland memory was storming the field after the football's team come from behind win during Homecoming 2024. I could feel the rush of school pride and it was an unreal experience to celebrate the win with my fellow Terps on the field.

My favorite Maryland memory was when we rushed the field after the Homecoming football game win in 2024. It was so exciting to celebrate a win on the field alongside all my fellow Terps!

Although I have many, my favorite Maryland memory is watching Crab 5 dominate on the court. It was especially fun to watch with my brother, also a Terp alum!
