Maryland Athletics Donation Request Form
Maryland Athletics is proud to support our local community by donating tickets for home sporting events to charitable organizations and causes. We receive several hundred donation requests every year, and each one receives serious consideration. While we wish we could honor every one, we are not able to fulfill all of them. Please ensure your request meets the following guidelines:
Request Eligibility
The Application Form found on this page is required for all donation requests made to Maryland Athletics. The form must be completed in its entirety. Please ensure all information is accurate before submitting.
Maryland Athletics ticket donations will be made in the form of a gift certificate which can be redeemed at a later date. The certificate will specify the sport and season during which it can be redeemed, as well as any restrictions or other important information. The ultimate recipient of the gift certificate must fill it out completely and submit it to the Terrapin Ticket Office at least two weeks in advance of the desired game. The Terrapin Ticket Office will electronically transfer the requested tickets via email at least three days prior to the game.
Request Eligibility
- Maryland Athletics contributes donations to a variety of charitable organizations, with an emphasis placed on youth education, sports, and medical care, as well as organizations that support and advance our local and regional community.
- Ticket donations are limited to one request per organization per Maryland Athletics fiscal year (July 1 - June 30).
- Requests related to the following are ineligible to receive donations:
- Requests that would benefit students in grades 9-12, preparatory school or junior college are not permitted due to NCAA regulations.
- Proceeds or actual items may NOT be provided to a high school, preparatory school or two-year college for any reason.
- Requests for operating expenses and other monetary donations.
- Business award and incentive programs (for profit).

- Requests must be submitted at least four (4) weeks in advance of the date for which the donation is needed.
- Requests must be made via the form below. Requests made via email, fax, mail, or phone call will not be accepted.
- Due to the volume of requests we receive, we are not able to provide status updates for requests. If your request is approved, you will receive an email containing the gift certificate for the tickets you requested as well as other important information.
