- During his sophomore year, he was the only ACC player to rank in the Top 10 in assists, steals, and blocks
- Broke Maryland basketball single-season scoring records with 776 points, averaging 26.8 points during his senior season, scored more than 30 points 11 times, including a streak of seven games over 30 points
- Finalist for Wooden and Naismith Player of the Year awards, A 7th overall selection in the 1992 NBA draft, an 11 year NBA veteran
