Stuart named ACC volleyball Co-Player of the Week

COLLEGE PARK, MD. - Junior middle hitter Maren Stuart has been named the ACC volleyball Co-Player of the Week. She shares the honor with Duke's Jamie Ediger.
Stuart earned the honor by virtue of her performance in Maryland's 15-7, 12-15, 13-15, 15-13, 18-16 upset victory at Virginia last Friday. She averaged a team-high 3.60 kills per game, 2.40 blocks per game and posted a .361 hitting percentage.
This marks the first time Stuart has captured ACC Player of the Week honors.
Maryland (12-16, 5-9 ACC) travels to North Carolina for a 7 p.m. match tonight.
