Field Hockey Team Ranked Eighth in NFHCA Poll

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) has released its weekly NCAA Division I poll, and the Maryland Terrapins (14-5, 3-1 ACC) are ranked eighth with 68 points. The Terps tied for seventh place with Penn State in last week's poll.
Old Dominion retains the top spot in the poll for the third consecutive week. Virginia, Connecticut, Princeton and North Carolina remain in spots two through five respectively.
Maryland has the week off after concluding its regular season with seven consecutive victories. The Terps will compete in the ACC Tournament next weekend in Charlottesville, Va. The seedings for the ACC Tournament will be released next Monday.
The NFHCA releases its poll each Tuesday during the regular season. This week's poll is as follows:
