Field Hockey Ranked Seventh in NFHCA Poll

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) has released its weekly NCAA Division I poll, and the Maryland Terrapins (8-5) are ranked seventh with 64 points. The Terps climb two spots from last week's ninth place ranking.
Old Dominion takes over the top spot in the poll, while Connecticut remains on second place. Princeton, North Carolina and Penn State round out the top five.
Maryland continues its season this week with three home games at the Astro Turf Facility. The Terps face Bucknell (7-4) tonight at 7:30 p.m., take on ninth-ranked Duke (7-5) Saturday at noon and conclude their week with a game against No. 18 Boston (8-4) on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The NFHCA releases its poll each Tuesday during the regular season. This week's poll is as follows:
