Terps' Hiskins Named ACC Field Hockey Player Of The Week

Junior forward Rachel Hiskins (Victoria, Australia) was named the Atlantic Coast Conference field hockey Player of the Week for Sept. 27 after leading the Terps to two 4-0 victories last week, including a victory over Wake Forest to open conference play.
Hiskins' scored two goals and added an assist as Maryland defeated Delaware, 4-0, on Sept. 21. Against the Demon Deacons, the scored one goal and added one assist to help the fourth ranked Terps to their first conference victory of the season.
Hiskins has now scored at least one point in every game this season, and has recorded career highs of 11 goals, 17 assists and 39 total points.
Hiskins' 17 assists rank as the fourth-highest single-season total in school history. It marks the first time during her career that she has earned the award.
