Greer Named To Soccer America Team Of The Week

Maryland senior midfielder Terri Greer (Woodbridge, Va.) was named to the Soccer America Team of the Week (Oct. 16-22) for the first time in her career.

Greer earned the accolade after scoring the game-winning goal in the Terps upset of then-No. 23 Florida State on Friday, Oct. 20. Maryland went on to the 2-0 victory over the Seminoles.

Greer is the second Terp to be honored by Soccer America this season. Junior forward Sara Gustafson (Reisterstown, Md.) earned the honor after the first week of the season after her hat trick to upset then-No. 4 Penn State, 3-1 on Aug. 29.
