Quoting Coach Rodenhaver
"I am very excited to begin our first spring season," said head coach Jason Rodenhaver. "We hope to build a solid foundation and are very fortunate to have a talented group of golfers on our first roster. Though the majority of our players are freshmen, I feel that the experience and playing time that they will earn this season will be extremely beneficial to our maturation process. We definitely have our work cut out for us. The ACC is loaded with superpowers including Duke, which is the defending national champion. Our schedule is very competitive and will allow us to be successful if we play well. In scheduling for our first season, I wanted to put our players in position where they could be successful. If we are able to put ourselves in position to be successful, we will be able to call our first season a successful one."
