Maryland Volleyball Team Hires Two Assistant Coaches

Jennifer LaGrange and Xiangrong Liu have been hired as assistant volleyball coaches by the University of Maryland. They join head coach Janice Kruger, who is entering her 13th season at the helm of the program.
LaGrange has been the top assistant coach at Southwest Texas State University since 1997. During that span, the Bobcats went 62-34, won the 1998 Southland Conference championship and advanced to the 1998 NCAA Tournament.
"We are excited to have Jennifer in our program," said Kruger. "She will bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise as our recruiting coordinator."
Liu arrives from University of Dayton, where he has been part of the Flyers' coaching staff the past six years. He was the graduate assistant coach from 1994-95 and has been a full-time assistant since 1996.
"As our technical coach, Xiangrong's court experience and knowledge of the game will be valuable to our continued success in the ACC," said Kruger.
