COLLEGE PARK, MD -
Freshman righthander Greg Condon pitched six scoreless innings, leading George Washington (33-19) to a 4-2 win over Maryland (22-31) in baseball action on Tuesday at Shipley Field. The win marked the first time that the Colonials have beaten the Terps on the road since April 13, 1995.

George Washington scored twice more in the sixth inning. Freshman Jake Wald had a RBI single and freshman center fielder Tony Dekoupil scored at the end of the inning, when the Terps picked Wald off of first base on a rundown.
Dekoupil struck again in the top of the eighth inning as he belted a RBI single into left field, extending the lead to 4-0.
The Terps got on the board in the bottom of the ninth inning when senior second baseman Jason Mohap scored on a sacrifice fly and junior left fielder Brian Patenaude singled home a second run. The Colonials, however, held on to get the win.
