
Terps Host Two ACC Volleyball Matches This Weekend

College Park, Md.- The University of Maryland women's volleyball team returns to action Friday, Sept. 22, when the Terps host Florida State in an ACC battle at 7:00 p.m. Maryland (8-4, 0-1 ACC) will look to stop a Florida State club that has won two in a row and is 11-2 on the year.
Senior Nnenna Amobi (Silver Spring, Md.) led Maryland Tuesday in their 15-10, 10-15, 11-15, 11-15 loss to Wake Forest. Amobi pounded a career-high 26 kills in the loss for the Terps. Sophomore setter also had a night to remember as she recorded a career-best 62 assists.
The Terrapins finish their six-match homestand Saturday, Sept. 23, with another opponent, Duke. The Blue Devils enter Saturday's match 9-4 on the year and 0-1 in the ACC. Duke lost their ACC opener on the road Tuesday to Virginia 7-15, 15-7, 15-13, 12-15, 13-15.
