COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The third official 2000 STX/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) poll of the season was released Sept. 26, with the reigning national champion Maryland Terrapins hanging on to the top spot. The Terps (7-1) gained nine first place votes, yielding five to No. 2 Old Dominion and 14 to No. 3 Wake Forest after their loss to the Demon Deacons on Sept. 23.
