
Willette Dority Named ACC Volleyball Player Of The Week

GREENSBORO, N.C.- Florida State's Norisha Campbell and Maryland's Willette
Dority share this week's Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week
honors after leading their respective teams this past weekend.
Dority, a senior middle hitter from Congers, N.Y., averaged
3.62 kills, 1.77 digs 1.08 blocks and a .398 hitting percentage in three games for the Terps.
Against North Carolina, Dority had her top performance with a career-high 17 kills, 10
digs and a .385 hitting percentage. Dority was one reason why Maryland upset No. 25 North Carolina and ended the Tar Heels' 12-match ACC winning streak.
On the week, Campbell recorded 4.31 kills per game, 1.29
blocks per game and a .391 hitting percentage. The senior middle hitter
from Universal City, Texas, had her best match of the week against
Maryland where she hit a career-high 29 kills while also contributing
seven blocks and a .377 hitting percentage.
