Henderson, Perry Semifinalists For Football News' National Player of Year Honors

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Two members of the Maryland football team -- linebacker E.J. Henderson and tailback Bruce Perry -- have been named as semifinalists for Football News' National Players of the Year, the publication announced Thursday.

In addition, first-year Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen is one of 10 semifinalists for Football News' National Coach of the Year.

Finalists for all three awards will be announced Nov. 20.
