COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
The 2002 FedEx Orange Bowl will be played before a sellout crowd at 75,540-seat Pro Player Stadium in Miami.
The University of Maryland sold its remaining allotment of tickets - more than 7,000 over the guarantee - Tuesday afternoon. The Terps, who were obligated to sell 15,000 tickets, surpassed that mark easily, finishing with a total of 22,020 tickets sold through the athletic ticket office.
The Orange Bowl will match the sixth-ranked Terps and fifth-ranked Florida. Kickoff Jan. 2 is set for 8 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on ABC.
