Friedgen, Henderson Honored On ESPN Football Awards Show

ORLANDO, Fla. -
Ralph Friedgen was named national Coach of the Year and linebacker E.J. Henderson was named to the Walter Camp All-America team Thursday night during the 2001 Home Depot College Football Awards Show.
The show, carried live on ESPN and hosted by Chris Fowler, originated from the Atlantic Dance Hall here at Disneyworld.
On Friday, the winner of the 2001 Dick Butkus Award, presented annually to the nation's top linebacker, will be announced at a luncheon here in Orlando. Henderson is one of three finalists for the award.
