Debbie Lieberman contines to update the Maryland women's soccer team's journey to Europe.

Day 3: Aug. 17

HEIDELBERG, Germany - On Friday, August 17, we had our first two-a-day session in Heidelberg. In between sessions, we went to the old city center of Heidelberg. We went to the see the oldest university in Germany, which is where we met our tour guide. She took us around the city to see the old castle named Schloss Heidelberg, which was on the hill overlooking the city. It was an amazing view of the entire city from the top of the castle.

Following our tour, we had some free time to explore the town. Most of us shopped at the stores lining the old city.

We followed that with another training session and dinner to close of a busy day three of our great adventure.
