COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's soccer team finished fifth in the ACC regular-season standings and will face the fourth-seeded and host Florida State Seminoles in the first round of the 2002 ACC Tournament held in Tallahassee. The Terps (11-6-1 overall, 3-3-1 ACC) and the Seminoles (11-5-3, 3-3-1 ACC) will play the final of four games on Thursday's first round. The teams finished tied in the standings, but by virtue of FSU's 1-0 win at College Park on Oct. 25, 2001, the Seminoles won the tiebreaker and are the higher-seeded team.
