Q: What is your career highlight?
Lindsay Davey: My career highlight so far was winning two high school state championships. More specifically, the one my senior year.
Q: What are the team's goals for the rest of the season?
LD: Our goal is to make it to the NCAA tournament.
Q: What are your individual goals for the season/your career?
LD: I want to make an All-ACC team and break 4,000 assists for my career.
Q: What are your thoughts on the team's 11-match win streak at beginning of season?
LD: It was good while it lasted.
Q: What team are you most excited to play?
LD: Duke, because they got lucky before. I hope we play them at the ACC tournament to prove ourselves.
Q: What sport would you play if it wasn't volleyball?
LD: Basketball
Q: What is your favorite aspect of volleyball?
LD: Defense and digging.
Q: What are your thoughts on the addition of the libero?
LD: It is a good addition for us short people.
Q: If you could change one rule, what would it be?
LD: NO MORE RALLY SCORE! I would like to go back to the old 15-point games when you could only score when you had the serve. It's a whole new game now.
Q: What is your fondest volleyball memory?
LD: Upsetting North Carolina at home when they were undefeated in the conference last year.
Q: What are your plans for after college?
LD: Hopefully I will make a lot of money and travel.
Q: What is the best thing about being a senior?
LD: No more spring practices or early morning lifting!
Q: Do you have any parting words for the team?
LD: I'd have to thank my teammates for being the coolest bunch of girls on this campus. I had so much fun, especially with my fellow seniors. We might just be the funniest girls ever. I would have never made it through college without us cracking jokes the entire way! I'll miss you guys next year and just remember to sing a little Elton John when things get tough!
