Clasper Shares Individual Title At UNCW Lady Seahawk Women's Golf Tourney

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Maryland's Erin Clasper shared the individual title as the Terps' women's golf team finished in 12th place at the UNCW Lady Seahawk Golf Invitational Tuesday at River Landing Golf Club.
Clasper shared the individual crown with Penn State's Katie Fucher, as both golfers fashioned two-over-par 218 totals. Clasper fired rounds of 71-74-73 while Fucher carded rounds of 71-76-71.
The young NC State Wolfpack, featuring four freshmen and one sophomore in the lineup, fashioned a 300-299-305=904 total over the two-day event at River Landing and took the team title by virtue of its five-player total of 1140. Florida State carded a 298-304-302=904 and had a five-player total of 1144. Maryland finished 32 shots back, posting a team total of 936.
