COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Due to a severe weather forecast in the Southeast caused by Tropical Storm Isidore, the Maryland women's golf team today elected to withdraw from this weekend's Chrysler ACC/SEC Challenge in Destin, Fla., citing safety concerns. The Terps were scheduled to fly out of Baltimore Wednesday afternoon but experienced significant delays, then learned that their connecting flight out of Atlanta had been cancelled. "We were having a tough time getting down there, and we had to do what was in the best interest of our student athletes," head coach Jason Rodenhaver said.
