
Aimee Huddleston Earns ACC Volleyball Player Of The Week Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Maryland's Aimee Huddleston was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Volleyball Player of the Week after leading the Terrapins to three conference wins this past weekend. The junior setter tallied 119 assists and led the Maryland offense to a combined .315 hitting percentage in three matches against NC State, Florida State and North Carolina.
This is the first conference player of the week nod of Huddleston's career, and she is the second Terrapin to garner the honor this season (Lynnsy Jones is the other).
The Keller, Texas native hit .300 for the week en route to averaging 13.22 assists per game, 2.11 digs per game and 1.22 blocks per game. Versus NC State and Florida State, Huddleston connected on 7 kills in 11 opportunities with zero errors, to hit .636 in six games. She also posted back-to-back 38 assists against the Wolfpack and 'Noles.
Defensively, Huddleston accumulated 19 digs and 11 total blocks (one solo, 10 assists) to guide the Terps' to a 3-0 record. Huddleston and the Maryland Terrapins are back in action this weekend as they travel to Virginia on Friday.
