
Maria DiLivio Named ACC Volleyball Co-Player Of The Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Maryland's Maria DiLivio was selected as this week's Atlantic Coast Conference Co-Player of the Week after leading the Terrapins to an upset victory over No. 4 Georgia Tech.
DiLivio posted back-to-back double-doubles in averaging 4.00 kills per game, 3.20 digs per game and .60 assists per game in two matches. Versus Clemson, the junior outside hitter collected 20 kills on 44 opportunities to hit .364, while garnering 20 digs defensively.
Against No. 4 Georgia Tech, the Hamilton, Ontario native led all Terrapins with a .514 hitting percentage on 20 kills in 35 chances, committing only two errors. Defensively, she tallied 12 digs and two block assists in the 3-2 upset of the previously unbeaten Yellow Jackets.
Florida State's Cassie McLaughlin was also honored as Co-Player of the Week by the ACC.
Maryland received 45 votes in the latest USA TODAY/AVCA Coaches' Poll and returns to the court Thursday at NC State and Friday at North Carolina.
