College Park, Md. - Alright alright.. I know most of you that have been keeping up with my postings on-line probably think I have fallen off the face of the earth. But no worries, I've just been really busy with this whole thing I call... HUMAN ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY... hardest class ever! Geez... junior year has been quite a wake up call... all this late night studying has given me premature wrinkles!
But onto the soccer stuff... I think going into our sixth overtime game is what has given me premature wrinkles and early signs of heart conditions. I don't know how much more I can take... I don't know how much more Shannon, the other coaches, and my parents can take. But the good thing this time is that we came out with a 1-0 win over No. 10 Duke... and we actually got to celebrate.
Most of our overtimes this season have ended in ties, which aren't bad results but sometimes I just wonder, if no one's going to win, what's the sense in playing those tiring 20 minutes... Geez! But it felt great this time to be able to celebrate a victory rather than just walking off the field looking at the tired faces of both teams. As I looked around after the game just taking in the energy and emotion our team had showed last night I couldn't help but notice that everyone had huge grins on their faces. That's the side of my team I love to see.
I'm sure most of you have kept up with the game recaps this year so there's no need for me to go into details about last night. So... with everything said and done have a great night/day Terp fans and hopefully my updates will come a little more often. Goodnight and GO TERPS!
Signing off this is Danielle Malagari!
