
Huddleston Named First Team Academic All-District

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - University of Maryland senior setter Aimee Huddleston was named to the first team of the CoSIDA Academic All-District II volleyball team, the organization announced today.
Huddleston, a Keller, Texas, native, has dished out over 1,000 assists in 2004, including the 3,000th for her career. She is currently fourth on Maryland's all-time career list and also holds the single-season mark (1,669 in 2003).
A first team All-ACC selection in 2003 and AVCA Honorable Mention All-America, Huddleston is a three-time member of the ACC Honor Roll and has a 3.831 grade point average in business management at Maryland.
The Terps play their final regular season ACC matches this weekend at Comcast Center Pavilion, beginning with a match vs. Georgia Tech Friday at 7 p.m.
