State College, Pa. - I am currently writing you loyal fans from Hi-Way Pizza in State College, Pa. I am writing this on th back of a kiddie menu with a blue crayon. Our waiter's name is Duncan, and to be honest with you I think he is a little nervous serving us. But he is a cutie and we seem to have established a lasting friendship, so all should go well.
Anyways, if you haven't noticed, we won our first round game against Loyola last night. I apologize for not updating you earlier, but I had some food to attend to. I'm not going to go into all of the details of the win, but I will say it was a total team effort. It was enjoyable to watch the midfield work from the backline last night. I do want to mention one thing ... Kelly Roz's goal was amazing. She perfectly placed it in the right upper 90 so that it wrapped around the front post. It cfertainly was a sight to see.
Well, tomorrow we are expecting nothing less than a battle.
My crayon is starting to become flat headed so I think that's a sign to stop writing and get to eating. Have a great night and GO TERPS!
This is Danielle Malagari signing off from the land of the Nittany Lions.
