
Field Hockey's Paula Infante Featured in Sports Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd"

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland field hockey's Paula Infante is featured in the current issue of Sports Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd" which is available on newsstands until Jan. 3, 2005.
A sophomore midfielder, Infante (Santiago, Chile) broke the single-game NCAA Tournament record, scoring all five of Maryland's goals in the 5-2 first-round win over Delaware. She led the Terps with 14 goals and had 33 points, which was second on the team.
Infante earned first-team All-America honors for the second time in her career this season. Helping the Terrapins reach the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament for the second-straight year, she is also a two-time All-ACC and All-NCAA Tournament pick.
