
Maryland Water Polo Falls To Princeton 17-7

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's water polo team lost to Princeton 17-7 Sunday morning at the Campus Recreation Center Natatorium in College Park. Three Terps scored two goals apiece in the loss to the No. 19 Tigers in the highest scoring game in the program's brief history.
Senior Laura Nolan (Towson, Md.) scored the first goal of the game after 50 seconds had elapsed. Senior Elyse Corwin (Orinda, Calif.) scored her team-leading third and fourth goals of the season to go along with three steals in the game.
Senior Meghan Graves (Kennett Square, Pa.) and junior Colleen McShane (Chicago, Ill.) each scored their first two goals of the season. McShane added an assist and three steals, as well.
Sophomore goalie Marissa Corwin (Orinda, Calif.) 11 saves while giving up all 17 Princeton goals. She also had two steals.
Sophomore Allison Kuzniar (St. Charles, Ill.) had a team-best two assists, while senior Sarah Wahba (Crofton, Md.) had one. Senior Linneah Riedlinger (Greenbelt, Md.) and Nolan each had one steal.
The Terps (0-3) are back in action at this afternoon when they host Bucknell. The game starts at 12:30 at the CRC Natatorium.
