Women's Soccer Scrimmages Moved

Preseason scrimmages hosted by the University of Maryland women's soccer team against Richmond and George Washington will be played at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown, Md., school officials said today.
The scrimmages, against Richmond on Friday, August 20 at 5 p.m., and against George Washington on Sunday, August 22 at 7:30 p.m., will be moved due to grounds work being done at Ludwig Field.
Admission to the scrimmages will be free.
Maryland opens its regular-season women's soccer schedule on August 27 at Towson. The home opener will be Sunday, August 29 at 1 p.m. against William & Mary.

Take I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) to exit for Route I-70 West towards Frederick
Follow I-70 to the exit for I-270 South towards Washington (approximately 35 miles)
Take I-270 South to Exit 15B (Route 118 South) towards Germantown
Continue on Route 118 for 2.8 miles to Richter Farm Road and turn right
Take Richter Farm Road 1 mile to Schaeffer Road (4-way stop) and turn left
The park entrance is 0.3 miles on the right
From Western Maryland
Take Route I-70 East towards Frederick
Follow I-70 to the exit for I-270 South
Take I-270 South to Exit 15B (Route 118 South) towards Germantown
Continue on Route 118 for 2.8 miles to Richter Farm Road and turn right
Take Richter Farm Road 1 mile to Schaeffer Road (4-way stop) and turn left
The park entrance is 0.3 miles on the right
From Northern Virginia and Points South
Take I-495 (Capital Beltway) West to Exit 35 (I-270 North towards Frederick)
Take I-270 North to Exit 15B (Route 118 South) towards Germantown
Continue on Route 118 for 2.8 miles to Richter Farm Road and turn right
Take Richter Farm Road 1 mile to Schaeffer Road (4-way stop) and turn left
The park entrance is 0.3 miles on the right
