Women's Soccer to Kick Off 2004 Season at Towson at 4:00 p.m.

The Maryland women's soccer team, after posting back-to-back wins in scrimmages over the weekend, will head to Towson on Friday to take on the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. and back to the Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown for a Sunday bout with William & Mary.
The Terps own a 4-0-0 record in the all-time series with Towson, including a 3-2 victory on Ludwig Field a year ago. Maryland will travel to Towson for the second time in the 12-year history of the series and first time since 1992 - a year that saw a 12-0 Terp victory.
Maryland will head back to the Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown, Md. for its home opener against William& Mary. The team played two summer scrimmages in Germantown and will kick off on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The two schools have met 17 times since the series' first game in 1987, with William & Mary holding an 11-6-0 advantage and Maryland taking a 2-1 victory in 2003.
