Gameday: Who is the most famous person you've ever met? Maria DiLivio: The most famous person I've met is Tommy Davidson. He's an actor and comedian. He was on "In Living Color" and "Juwanna Mann."
GD: Do you speak any other languages?
MD: Yes, Italian.
GD: If you could be on any reality TV show, which one would you want to be on?
MD: I'd like to be on "The Surreal Life" because it would be really cool to be stuck in a house with random, old-school actors and musicians. It could be fun.
GD: What is the worst movie you own?
MD: The worst movie I own is "Joyride." Talk about cheese. Dumbest movie ever ... Candy Cane.
GD: What is your favorite food?
MD: My mother's lasagna.
GD: What is your Favorite movie?
MD: It's a tie between "The Godfather Part III", "Rocky IV" and "Garden State".
GD: What is your favorite sport besides volleyball?
MD: My favorite sport to watch, but not participate in, is soccer.
GD: What is something you are an expert on and could teach a class?
MD: Makeup 101.
GD: What is your favorite TV show?
MD: Either "Sex and the City", "Reno 911!", "CSI" or "Without a Trace". And, to jump on the bandwagon, "The OC".
GD: What is something people would be surprised to know about the volleyball team?
MD:How close we really are as a team and how we all get along.
GD: What is your most embarrassing moment on the court?
MD: It happened in club, I was going up to hit and the floor was wet and I slipped and fell and the ball hit me.
GD: Who is the teammate that makes you laugh the most?
MD: I'd have to say [Kathy] Shahrokh. She's so random and her laugh is contagious.
GD: If someone made a movie about your volleyball career, what would the name of the movie be and who would play you?
MD: Marisa Tomei would play me and the name of the movie would be "Untitled".
GD: If you could have 50 pounds of anything, what would you have?
MD: MAC makeup
GD: Being from Ontario, what would you say is the biggest difference between the United States and Canada?
MD: I think the fact that we are very neutral and we mind our own business. We're just up there living our own lives and we keep to ourselves and we're peaceful.
GD: If you could trade places with one Maryland athlete for a day who would you choose and why?
MD: Probably a football player so I could just knock someone to the ground and yell "Yeah in your face, Buddy!"
GD: What has been your most memorable game as a Terrapin?
MD: Surprisingly, it wasn't the ACC Championship game, but the game we played Georgia Tech at home when we beat them and we broke their 23-match win streak. It was so exciting with all the fans and it was a really huge accomplishment for us.
GD: What is the hardest part about volleyball?
MD: The hardest part is keeping yourself mentally centered. In this sport, not only is the physical aspect hard, but you also have to keep a clear mind and you can't let any frustration get to you. Once it does, your mind goes elsewhere and you lose focus.
GD: If you could invite any three people, living or dead, to dinner, who would you invite?
MD: Eddie Vedder, Gianni Versace and Al Pacino.
GD: What is your favorite gym to play in other than Comcast Center?
MD: Ritchie Coliseum.
GD: Do you have any pre-game superstitions?
MD: I put a piece of gum in my sock and then I put it in my mouth right before we start warm-ups, then I swallow it right before we shake hands.
GD: What are you going to miss the most when you graduate?
MD: I'm going to miss it all. I'm going to miss playing as a team and having that team unit - always having people around you who are going through the same thing you are going through and understanding you and sharing the same experiences as you. I'll miss having a bunch of people to be happy with.
GD: Where is one place you haven't visited yet but would like to?
MD: The island of Capri, off of Italy.
GD: What will you be remembered as ten years from now?
MD: The Italian, fashion expert, Canadian volleyball player.
GD: What is your favorite saying?
MD: "Aw, look at that little peanut. Eh, buddy?"
