Kate Stepanek had identical rounds of 76 to finish in a tie for 11th, while Jessica Reno finished one shot behind to lead the University of Maryland to a fourth-place finish Sunday in the Nittany Lion Fall Invitational women's golf tournament.
Stepanek's 152 total over 36 holes were just short of a top-10 finish. Reno had rounds of 76 and 77 to finish at 153 over the 36 holes to tie for 17th overall.
Penn State's Maggie Lester won the individual title at 74-70--144 on Penn State's Blue Course.
Maryland shot 307-302 for a 609 total and fourth place in the team standings. UC Irvine won the team title at 600, one shot better than host Penn State, with Princeton in third at 607.
