
Resnick and Francis Named To All-ACC Teams

College Park, Md. - Two members of the Maryland women's soccer team were named to the All-ACC teams that were released by the conference office today.
Junior goalkeeper Nikki Resnick was named to the All-ACC first team, while senior forward/midfielder Kimmy Francis was named to the second team.
Resnick, a native of Boca Raton, Fla., led the conference in total saves (106), overall saves per game (6.24), saves in ACC games (78) and saves per ACC game (7.8). Earlier this season she broke the Ludwig Field record for saves in a game with 14 stops vs. then-No. 1 North Carolina on Oct. 2. This is Resnick's first time being selected to the All-ACC team.
Francis, a Richboro, Pa., native, makes her fourth appearance on the All-ACC's second team. The senior co-captain leads the Terps in points (10), goals (3), assists (4) and shots (53). For her career she ranks anomg the all-time best at Maryland - third in points (67), sixth in goals (22), fourth in assists (23), second in shots (225), tied for fourth in game-winning goals (8), 15th in games played (81).
