POSITION VACANCY
POSITION TITLE: Assistant Coach - Men's Soccer
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics
CATEGORY: Faculty Non-tenured Contract (12
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the head coach with the organization, development and implementation of a nationally competitive, Division I men's soccer program. Responsibilities will include assisting with scouting, recruiting, coaching, practice and game scheduling, and the administration of team budgets. Develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni, media, and the general public. Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, ACC and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential. Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or the Director of Athletics.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Two years coaching soccer experience required. Professional playing experience and/or Division I collegiate playing experience may be substituted for coaching experience. U.S.S.F coaching license or N.S.C.A.A. coaching diploma in soccer preferred. Strong communication, organizational, administrative and computer skills.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
