Another year and you know what that means... MORE GEAR!
Moving day for the team is always the most exciting. This year the whole team is staying in a dorm on campus during preseason. It's a great idea because we all are getting to know each other really well. I am rooming with freshman Aimee Bresani and let me tell her, she has her laptop here and she is an online loser! Just kidding, she is very easy to get along with and a good roomie. But anyways, we are all really excited to be here.
On Tuesday we all gathered at 2 pm at the Varsity Team House to get all of our new gear and to have a bunch of compliance meetings and what not. After our initial meeting with Brian and the coaches we were lead into a different room, which is now our new locker room. It is newly finished and furnished locker room fully equipped with a huge flat screen television with Direct TV. I told the coaching staff that I never wanted Christmas again because this was the best surprise ever. (But mom and dad, don't pay attention to that, I still want Christmas!)
After all the surprises and meeting we went to Brian's new house for a team dinner. It was such a cute house and we had a great dinner. Before and after dinner a bunch of us were downstairs in the rec room playing with Brian's kids. Alex, Will, and Ben were such a trip. They are the spitting image of Brian.
