POSITION VACANCY
POSITION TITLE: Assistant Coach - Baseball
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics
CATEGORY: Volunteer (Unpaid)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the head coach with the organization, development and implementation of a competitive, Division I baseball program. The ideal individual must have catching experience at the collegiate or professional level. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, developing catchers, throwing batting practice, coaching first base, field set-up for practices and games, serve as liaison with training room staff to keep coaches updated on player injuries, and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, experience and training. Professional or collegiate playing experience preferred. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations helpful.
