Fans Will "Rock Wit' Em" at Men's & Women's Hoop Home Openers

Nov. 10, 2006

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Feel Mason, winner of the Maryland Athletics and 93.9 WKYS "Fear the Turtle" anthem contest, will perform the new hit "Rock Wit' Em" at halftime of the men's and women's basketball home openers on Sunday, Nov. 12th.

Along with the halftime performances at the Comcast Center, Feel Mason won four women's basketball season tickets, the playing of "Rock Wit' Em" at all Maryland Athletic events, and the production and online release of the "Rock Wit' Em" music video.

93.9 WKYS, DC's station for hip-hop and R&B, promoted the contest online at www.939wkys.com and over the airwaves in an effort to motivate some of the DC area's best artists to take their shot at creating a new sound for Maryland Athletics. After several submitted anthems, Feel Mason was announced the winner in September and "Rock Wit' Em" has been played at home football, men's and women's soccer, field hockey and volleyball games throughout the fall season.

Feel Mason is expected to release the album District Attorney sometime in 2007 under the Mid East Records, LLC label. "Rock Wit' Em" was produced by Donavin Campbell of Bully Music Group, a subsidiary of Mid East Records. Mid East Records will be holding their official launch party on Saturday, Nov. 11th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Cada Vez in Northwest, D.C.
